She started learning guitar and formed her first band 'Blue Rinse' with her best friends at the age of 12, learning and performing popular grunge and Indie songs to perform to her mates.
Although her musical style has changed a lot since those early years, and she leaves the playing to her incredibly talented band members, her tireless love for music has never wavered.
Clarity's adventure with musicals and professional band work began at around the age of 17 when she joined her first corporate events band. A huge 10 piece blues band.
She went on to work as part of a 3 piece backing vocalist team in a 12 piece blues band 'Brothers Blue' which performed at large venues, events and festivals in and around South Wales and South West England.
Also at the age of 17, she enrolled in a Musical Theatre course at college which involved working as both a musician and performer in musicals around the South West, UK.
After moving to Australia in 2011, Clarity joined 'The Tall Poppies' band in Cairns and held residency at the Casino, among many other venues across the city, also performing up to Port Douglas and down to Townsville. After moving to Australia in 2011, Clarity joined 'The Tall Poppies' band in Cairns and held residency at the Casino, among many other venues across the city, also performing up to Port Douglas and down to Townsville. During this time she also joined the Cairns Choral society for their show 'The Producers' in which she was both dancing and singing.
She now resides in Brisbane and performs on The Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and down to Northern NSW. Although this is where most of the bookings are,, she is also happy to travel.
Having played with extremely talented professional musicians, she is very careful to select only the best to work alongside her with EMPIRE Band. She has performed with members of Sheppard, Busby Marou and Yothu Yindi, just to name a few.
